A living multi-generational community
Our parish is a diverse, multi-generational community, with our worshippers ranging from 0 to 101 years of age. We have two active youth clubs and a youth drop-in, groups for babies, children and young people on Sundays, regular trips, and an annual pantomime. We also run a series of social events designed to appeal to all ages.
We have an incredible group of young people from 8-18 years of age and we would love to meet more! We run trips, residentials and regular activities. Monthly programme:
Tuesday Drop In, weekly in the back hall of the Parish Hall at 3.45pm-5.15pm
Friday Youth Club 2nd Friday in the month in term time, in the Parish Hall 6.30-8pm (8-13yrs)
Older Youth Group 4th Friday of the month in term, in the back hall at the Parish Hall 6.30-8pm (13-18yrs)
For more information contact the Youth Co-ordinator, Erin Morea, on email@example.com

Summer 19: we are looking to recruit a new Youth Leader for the parish. See advert at the bottom of this page.
Sunday Club and St Cross Tots
These children’s groups are run during the 9.30 Eucharist, except on the 2nd Sunday when we have our All Age Service. Tots is for 3 yrs and under, and Sunday Club groups are for 4-7 yrs and 8yrs and over.
The babies and younger children explore the bible in a fun and creative way each week using the children’s bible, prayers, craft and songs. We have been known to bake and plant seeds! Snacks for the children, coffee for the parents!
Children and young people aged 8 and over meet in the vestry during the sermon for their own bible study and discussion.

All age services
On the second Sunday of each month at 9.30am we have an All Age Parish Eucharist. This is a 45 minute service where children and adults worship together. The children stay in the service and are invited to come and sit on the carpet for an informal talk which takes the place of the sermon.
Confirmation classes for both young people and adults are held regularly. For more details speak to one of the clergy or contact us here
The children enjoy taking part in events such as the Palm Sunday procession and the major church festivals of Christmas and Easter. The Christmas crib service, to which they are invited to come dressed as angels, shepherds and kings, is one of our most popular services of the year. Earlier in December we have the annual Christingle service. There is a special children’s service on Good Friday to act out the story, and an all age service on Remembrance Sunday.
The pictures and craft which the children produce are often displayed in church, and the children also help to create the Christmas crib scene, Easter garden and other seasonal displays.
