Parish Hall
Countless families, children and younger and older people have happy memories of St. Faith’s Parish Hall in its unique setting in Back Street, surrounded by flint-walled allotments and the lovely water meadows of St. Cross.
A handsome Edwardian structure in brick and flint with a tiled roof, the building was presented to the parishioners of St. Faith in the first decade of the twentieth century by Canon the Hon. Alan Brodrick, Master of St. Cross, and his wife, in memory of their son George.
These days St. Faith’s Parish Hall is managed by a committee of volunteers on behalf of the PCC of St. Cross with St. Faith. An invaluable parish asset, the building hosts a wide variety of clubs, societies and businesses, all of which bring great benefit to the St. Cross community.
The regular users of the Parish Hall usually include Nancy Harper Nursery, Yoga, BoxFit, Art, Dance, Scout groups and Youth Club.
The building’s attractive interiors, its beautiful backdrop of St. Catherine’s Hill and its proximity to St. Cross Church make it the ideal venue for a reception following a baptism or wedding or for private children’s parties and events.
